  • Measure carefully – Use one teaspoon of tea leaves per cup for the perfect balance of flavour.
  • Don’t rush it – Black tea usually needs 3–5 minutes; green tea tastes best in 2–3 minutes.
  • Cover while brewing – Keeping your pot or cup covered locks in aroma and flavour.
  • Experiment with strength – If your tea is left to brew for too long, it will start to taste bitter, so for a stronger cup, simply add more tea leaves instead.
